About the event
Lillebjørn Nilsen was and is one of Norway's most prominent folk singers, artists and folk composers of all time. His discography consists of a long series of songs that, since the 1960s and up until today, have delighted us and given us musical experiences that touch the entire emotional register.
Now 7 musicians, from Øvre Eiker and Drammen, have delved into Lillebjørn's song catalog and put together a program to pay tribute to this great singer-songwriter who died in January 2024.
Many of the best and most famous songs Lillebjørn Nilsen composed are on the playlist this evening.
We have chosen the title of the concert, "Always look at life with joy", because it refers to Lillebjørn's ability to describe the joy of life, the joy of good relationships and the joy of good memories.
